I’ve not taken part in a styled shoot for years now. Mainly due to a busy schedule of work and family life but when I got an email from Kate from The Story of Us asking me to photograph a shoot she was putting together it sounded to good to pass on. Kate Owns The Story of Us out in The Northern beaches in Australia. A place which is very close to my heart. She contacted me saying she was moving to Scotland with her family and was looking at connecting with some local suppliers and putting together a fun and creative styled editorial shoot. I loved the look of her work and she sounded like a girl after my own heart, I was in. Amanda and Richard Davies were at the heart of the shoot and did an incredible job as our couple. They’ve been married for four years now and it was evident how much they adored each other.

The shoot took place at The Glue Factory which is run by Rachael at Eventful Spaces. I was also introduced to a group of extremely lovely and talented suppliers. I am constantly reminded how much I love this job. Through weddings, new born sessions, family sessions, and shoots like this. I met an extremely talented group of business women who made me proud of being a working mum and business owner. It was a pleasure to work with all involved. This is what we came up with.
