2017 Wedding Photography Highlights

2017 was epic for me. One of the best years in a long time. I was lucky enough to start the year in Australia after spending 5 months between Australia and New Zealand with friends and family. Incredible days spent in the sun and Ocean with the kids enjoying the lifestyle I love so much. Ollie even catching his first waves in New Zealand and loving it just as much as him mum and dad do. It's the small things that make the most impact. While there I photographed some incredible families and weddings. Returning to Scotland I photographed many more beautiful weddings, families and newborns throughout Scotland, meanwhile enjoying time as a family with my my two little humans and hubby.

2017 also had some heart break as dear old friends passed away and I watched incredibly close friends struggle though their own battles with unfair hands they were dealt which compromised the health of their beautiful loved ones, some of these loved ones only babies. These things make you look at life and appreciate the small things. It's these small things I love capturing so much on camera. Memories I and other people can take with them forever. I forced myself so slow down and appreciate the days and nights with my kids more. "The nights are long but the years are fast". 

The year went so incredibly fast and my waist line grew until we welcomed baby number three in December. What a way to top off the year. Thank you to all the couples and families that booked me in 2017. I appreciate you more than you know. Life is busy, life is chaotic, life is fast but wow its fun. I've said it before and I'll carry on saying it. I love my job and feel so lucky that the work below is what I get to do for a living. So here's to the fast year that was 2017. Blink and you'll miss it.
